    Dear Colleagues,

    The history of agriculture, which started with the history of humanity, was one of the main factors in the development of our civilization. With the development of civilization, advances in agricultural science and technology were put into practice. In this way, with the increase in productivity and quality, the nutritional need of the growing world population has become partially met. Although scientific and technological developments in agriculture have made positive contributions to productivity, it has also caused some environmental pollution.

    Sharing the scientific knowledge with scientists working in agriculture and related disciplines will accelerate the advancements in agriculture. For this purpose, the “4th International Congress of the Turkish Journal of Agriculture - Food Science and Technology (TURJAF 2025)” will be held online and face to face between the dates of 28-30 April 2025, hosted by Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, the congress is organized by Turkish Science and Technology Publications (TURSTEP) in cooperation with Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, Sivas Cumhiriyet University and Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Ayhan Şahenk Agricultural Research and Application Center. Participation of sector representatives, breeders and researchers are expected in the congress, The congress is planned as   online and   will be broadcasted live on TURAS TV.

    Congress topics include the original and advanced technologies related to agriculture and natural life, animal production, crop production, aquaculture, food science and technologies, agricultural technologies, soil science, sustainable agriculture systems, agricultural economics, genetics, biology, agricultural ecology, landscape architecture and agricultural environment. Many prestigious national and international researchers from agriculture and agriculture-related sectors as well as from the environmental sciences are expected to attend this important meeting.

    We are pleased to organize this congress in memory of Prof. Dr. Musa Sarıca, who many students and scientists he trained in agricultural education and science.

    Sayın Meslektaşlarımız…

    Tarım ve ilgili bilim dallarında çalışan bilim insanlarının katılımıyla, bilimsel gelişmeleri paylaştıkları, uluslararası sorunlara bilimsel çözümler önermek, iş birliklerini artırarak uluslararası kaynakların ekonomik kullanılmasıyla insanlığın yararına olacak bilimsel çıktıların oluşturulması amacıyla, 13-16 Eylül 2023 tarihinde Malatya/Türkiye’de “3. Uluslararası Tarım - Gıda Bilim ve Teknoloji Dergisi Kongresi (TURJAF)” gerçekleştirilmiştir.

    Kongremize 20 ülkeden 168 bildiri sunulmuştur. Bu bildirilerin 88'i yurt dışından, 80'i ise Türkiye'den gelmiştir. Kongreye bildiri gönderen katılımcıların ülkeleri ve gelen makale sayıları şu şekildedir; Afganistan (1), Cezayir (2), Bangladeş (6), Çad (1), Fildişi Sahili (2), Gana (5), Endonezya (2), Irak (1), Kenya (2), Nepal ( 3), Nijerya (22), Pakistan (24), Filipinler (1), Polonya (1), Ruanda (6), Somali (1), İspanya (1), Sri Lanka (6), Sudan (1) ve Türkiye (80). Yurtdışı bildiri oranı  %56 ‘dır (aynı yazara ait birden fazla bildiriler tek olarak alınmıştır; (100*82/(82+65)=56).

    Kongrede; tarım ve doğal hayat ile ilgili özgün ve ileri teknoloji ile ilgili; hayvansal üretim, bitkisel üretim, su ürünleri, gıda bilimi ve teknolojileri, tarım teknolojileri, toprak bilimi, sürdürülebilir tarım sistemleri, tarım ekonomisi, genetik, biyoloji, tarımsal ekoloji, peyzaj mimarlığı ve tarımsal çevre konuları katılımcılar tarafından tartışılmıştır.

    Kongremizin düzenlenmesi ve kongre aşamasında; kongre sekretaryasında önemli görevler üstlenen Dr. Burak Şen, Dr. Emre Aksoy, Dr. Mustafa Duman, Dr. Kadir Erensoy, Ahmet Akyol, Furkan Baş, Ali Kaan Yetik, Brian Tainika ve Muhammet Talha İnce, kongre organizasyonunu üstlenmişlerdir.

    Kongremizin başarılı bir şekilde gerçekleştirilmesinde desteklerini esirgemeyen tüm paydaşlarımıza ve bildirileri ile katılarak destek veren tüm bilim insanlarına teşekkürü bir borç biliriz.

  • II. International Congress of the Turkish Journal of Agriculture - Food Science and Technology, Gazimağusa / Cyprus

    "II. International Journal of Agriculture - Food Science and Technology (TURJAF 2021) ”was held in Gazimağusa / Cyprus between 25 and 29, October, 2021 with the participation of scientists working in agriculture and related disciplines to share scientific knowledge, to propose scientific solutions to international problems by international cooperations, and to establish the scientific outcomes that will benefit mankind by using economic international resources.

    Congress participants came all the way from 26 different countries including Algeria, Azerbaijan, Benin, Côte d'Ivoire, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Iranian, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tunisia, Turkey, Uganda, United Kingdom and Viet Nam. Approximately 268 papers were presented, including 202 oral presentations and 66 poster presentations. Invited speakers shared their scientific knowledge joining from 6 countries including Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Turkey

    The following topics were discussed by the participants in the Congress: original and advanced technologies related to agriculture and natural life, animal and crop production, aquaculture, food science and technologies, agricultural technologies, soil science, sustainable agriculture systems, agricultural economics, genetics, biology, agricultural ecology, landscape architecture and agricultural environment.

    Congress organization secreteriat has undertaken important tasks during the organization of the congess and proper continuation of it. Ast. Prof. Mustafa Duman, Ast. Prof. Emre Aksoy, Ast. Prof. Burak Şen and Mustafa Özcan from the CNS Congress Organizations Ltd. undertook the congress organization.

    "I. International Journal of Agriculture - Food Science and Technology (TURJAF) ”was
    held in Antalya / Turkey between 08 and 10, November, 2019 with the participation of
    scientists working in agriculture and related disciplines to share scientific knowledge, to
    propose scientific solutions to international problems by international cooperations, and to
    establish the scientific outcomes that will benefit mankind by using economic international
    resources.
    Congress participants came all the way from 12 different countries including Turkey,
    Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, Romania, Spain, Hungary, Japan, Uganda, Azerbaijan, Poland and
    Bangladesh. Approximately 232 papers were presented, including 200 oral presentations and
    32 poster presentations. Invited speakers shared their scientific knowledge joining from 6
    countries including Pakistan, Uganda, Hungary, Poland , Romania and Turkey.
    The following topics were discussed by the participants in the Congress: original and
    advanced technologies related to agriculture and natural life, animal and crop production,
    aquaculture, food science and technologies, agricultural technologies, soil science, sustainable
    agriculture systems, agricultural economics, genetics, biology, agricultural ecology, landscape
    architecture and agricultural environment.
